In case you didn’t know … iZeby bookmarks are DoFollow.
What is NoFollow and DoFollow all about?
Wiki Says:
While all engines that support the attribute exclude links that use the attribute from their ranking calculation, the details about the exact interpretation of the attribute vary from search engine to search engine.
- Google states that their engine takes “nofollow” literally and does not “follow” the link at all. However, experiments conducted by SEOs show conflicting results. These studies reveal that Google does follow the link, but does not index the linked-to page, unless it was in Google’s index already for other reasons (such as other, non-nofollow links that point to the page).
- Yahoo! “follows it”, but excludes it from their ranking calculation.
- MSN Search respects “nofollow” as regards not counting the link in their ranking, but it is not proven whether or not MSN follows the link.
- Ask.com ignores the attribute altogether.
So with that being said, we have made all of our backlinks DoFollow, meaning they will count as true backlinks to your sites pages and thus giving you the full benifit of social bookmarking!

Its time again for the iZeby monthly report. Nothing but good news to report this month. New registrations are heavily increasing, new members seem to be finding their way around pretty well. Bug reports are virtually non-existent now; very please about that. Traffic is picking up like crazy, if this continues we may need to upgrade the server.

iZeby for bbPress – Social It

For those iZeby members who would like to be able to use iZeby on their bbPress sites, there is an easy solution. Social It is a bbPress plugin that will allow you to bookmark your pages with iZeby and other top social bookmarking sites. The nice addition to Social It is that it can shorten permalinks via a number of URL shortening services.
Social It also displays the RSS feed of the page you are viewing or if no feed is available it will display the main URL RSS feed.
Big thanks to Gautam Gupta for including iZeby in their great plugin.

iZeby 2 Month Report

It has been exactly 2 months since the launch of iZeby. We are very happy with the progress being made with the site. We currently have 2000+ members and over 5000 bookmarks. Each week new registrations are about doubled. And the same can be said about traffic.

I just added my first bookmark, and it is certainly a “nofollow” one.
So, I am confused.

@mystylight – In order to combat spam, your stories will remain nofollow until they receive at least 1 vote from another member.
Once another member votes on your story, it will be promoted to the main page and become forever dofollow.
There are some great tips on gaining exposure here in the blog.
